Probably the best feature that remains is the voice acting, which is a delight to hear. There are very few dull moments and even for a game that was released in 2003, it looks decent. Star Trek: Elite Force 2 is a nicely paced FPS. A game that reminds you how important it is to save game progress However, they’re there, and there’s nothing you can do about it, except hope that while solving one, an alien doesn’t appear to shred you to pieces. In this title you also get to solve a few puzzles which, depending on your appreciation for them, they’ll either add to the challenge of the game or will feel totally useless.
Star Trek: Elite Force 2 manages to pull the latter off, more or less, as you’ll be constantly shooting at the exomorphs. There is a bit of sarcasm in that subtitle because few really enjoy the linear gameplay except for the cases where it’s really good, and the action is intense.
The action in the demo is spot on, and as a head’s up, you should mind your ammo.
Star Trek: Elite Force 2 is a first-person shooter that fuses together some of the Star Trek storylines into one well-written game.
